Nobelhart & Schmutzig

Nobelhart und Schmutzig is one of the most acclaimed restaurants in Berlin. Currently ranked No.57 on The World’s 50 Best and holders of a Michelin Star. With a menu that focuses on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, primarily from the surrounding regions of Berlin.

The restaurant has a speakeasy feel with a nondescript facade and a doorbell to gain entry. With a strict no-cell phone use policy and dim lighting, images from guests are limited. With our photoshoot we wanted to capture the restaurant in a similar way, giving it a feeling of mystery by focusing on short angles and closeups. Showing the behind the scenes from the counter overlooking into the open kitchen just before service.
